These Conditions of Purchase apply each and every time we purchase a car or vehicle from
you and apply whether the purchase is completed face to face, by telephone, fax, email or
post. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Purchase affects your statutory rights but
please ensure you read them in detail before offering your car for sale to us.
Terms and Conditions
- We reserve the right to refuse to purchase or value a vehicle at any time without giving
a reason
- Outstanding Finance - All outstanding finance must to be settled prior to release of funds
with a settlement letter from the relevant finance company required. Unless of course we
have made individual arrangements with you to settle the finance on your behalf.
- In the circumstance any outstanding finance balance is more than the agreed valuation,
you will agree to pay us the difference between these amounts at point of collection as
per the relevant finance companies settlement letter.
- If, in our opinion, on final viewing and inspection of the vehicle, the vehicle is not
in the condition as has been described, we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.
- In order to prevent fraudulent activities, proof of I.D will be required i.e. Driving
License or Passport . If it should then be shown that the vehicle is stolen or any other
fraudulent activity has occurred, all information will be passed to the Police with no exceptions.
- You undertake to supply us with full ownership documentation when we collect the vehicle.
i.e. vehicle registration document, MOT certificates, service history, unexpired Road fund
license, owners manuals, audio equipment (Factory Fitted) plus all relevant codes for stereo
systems and alarms. Payment will not be made until we receive all these documents.
- Warranted Mileage. This means that the mileage on the speedometer can be authenticated
by another means. e.g. service history, consecutive MOT's, etc.
- Based upon the information supplied, ibuyanycars.co.uk always endeavours to value all
proposals fairly and ethically, providing you with the best possible price. However, please
remember our valuations are based on recognised motor trade guides and current auction prices.
- HPI/Experian clearance is only gained upon your acceptance of the first and initial valuation
and could result in deductions from the first initial valuation offer. i.e. the vehicle
has been written off, stolen, subject to finance settlement or negative equity etc.
- A charge of £250 plus vat plus any associated unrecoverable costs will be payable
if we are not notified less than three working days in advance of a cancellation once you
the seller has agreed to the valuation and a collection date. The same charge will also
apply in the event that upon collection the vehicle is not as described as per the submitted
valuation form and a new valuation cannot be agreed by both parties. This charge must then
be paid with 7 days of the date of cancellation.
- ibuyanycars.co.uk operates only within the UK and is a trading division of Phoenix Motor Company.
- Upon acceptance of our offer, we will require you to complete and sign a purchase invoice
document. This is a legally binding document and cancellation fees will apply.
- We reserve the right to add to or amend these terms and conditions at any time.
- These Conditions of Purchase and the contract shall be deemed to have been formed under
and shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English law. The English Courts
shall have jurisdiction to hear disputes between us.
